nvim -v
Neovim is a strong editor with abundant plugins, but it doesn't have a plugin manager by default. vim-plug
is a pluggable plugin manager for nvim
.
vim-plug installation
curl -fLo ~/.local/share/nvim/site/autoload/plug.vim --create-dirs \https://raw.githubusercontent.com/junegunn/vim-plug/master/plug.vim
plug.vim
is stored in path ~/.local/share/nvim/site/autoload/
, you can stored the file in a customized directory.
Initialize nvim configuration file
Go to path /root/.config/
, and then create a configuration directory nvim
for nvim. And create init.vim
.
call plug#begin('~/.local/share/nvim/plugged')call plug#end()
All plugins should be put between the two line start with call
.
vim-plug usage
Run command in the nvim
mode
:PlugInstall
:PlugUpdate
:PlugClean
:PlugStatus
:PlugUpgrade
Stop a plugin temporarily
Plug 'foo/bar', { 'on': [] }
Auto-complete plugin(deoplete
)
Add deoplete
to init.vim
like this:
call plug#begin('~/.local/share/nvim/plugged')Plug 'Shougo/deoplete.nvim', { 'do': ':UpdateRemotePlugins' }call plug#end()
Add you should also configure it below
let g:deoplete#enable_at_startup = 1
But that's not all, we have to add different source through jedi
# pynvim is required, you may also need to install `jedi` as wellpip install pynvimpip install jedi
Install deoplete-jedi
Plug 'zchee/deoplete-jedi'
Now restart nvim, the auto-complete function should work properly.
Use shortcut ctrl
+ n
and ctrl
+ p
to navigate up and down in autocomplete pop-ups
